8/20/11 Mike fell at his sister Vickie's house and broke both bones in his forearm! Needed surgery, one plate, 9 screws and pins and 21 staples to put him back together!
7/26/11 Went to Bowling Green, Kentucky to visit Mike's family, cousins Imogene and Alvin, Aunt Tracine and cousin Paula and former pastor, Bro. Richard Oldham. Bonnie and I have been invited back to sing and preach.
6/23/11 - Rain, granddaughter number 5 is born! 10:44 am, 7 pounds, 13 ounces, 20 inches long!
1/25/11 Right now, Bonnie is the new bowling coach for Denham Springs and Mike is helping her.
06/25/10 Mike is almost finished with summer school - one more week next week. Bonnie has been enjoying her summer.
05/29/10 We are traveling to Atlanta to help Kyle and Sarah move to Pensacola. We get to see Aurora and her new little brother, True Orion, born on May 6, 2010 Our first grandson after 4 girls!
05/28/10 - We met a wonderful family Friday who needed some help with their car that had overheated. The mother, Stephanie,and her two children, Mattie, 10 and Aaron Junior, 5, were traveling to BR from Bay St Louis when their car broke down. Bonnie and I stayed with the famiily until the husband arrived.
04/17/10 Mike and Bonnie will be chaparoning the Denham Springs High School Senior Prom on Saturday.
04/06/10 Headed to the Wally Pontiff Classic in New Orleans on Wednesday. This is an annual event Bonnie and Mike attend with one of his former students, Brenden, who is an AVID LSU baseball fan. LSU plays Southern Miss at the Zypher Field. (LSU won!)
04/02/10 Bonnie's family had a reunion in Slaughter, LA. Grace and Rose went with them and a wonderful time was had by all. The family had a large pond and the gilrs fished past dark, catching something almost everytime they would cast.
03/18/10 Today Mike announces his first track and field meet at LSD. The previous announcer retired and the athletic director asked Mike if he would take over that responsibility. It will involve a few invitational meets this season, but will include the Regional Class "C" track meet too, the last meet before the state finals.
03/09/10 The convention is over! It was fun, but a lot of work! The kids from DSHS were awesome; winning numerous awards for their athletic prowness and their remarkable creativity as well as their superb spirit! Bonnie and I were exhausted! The reins of state chair were relinguished and Bonnie can breathe again.
3/08/10 For our anniversary, we went to Mike Anderson's and gorged on seafood platters! (Weight Watchers is coming soon!)
3/04/10 The Louisiana Junior Classical League annual convention is coming up on March 6-8 at the Holiday Inn in Baton Rouge. Bonnie is the State Chair nas has been working every waking moment getting ready for 450 students and 100 volunteers, chaparones and sponsors. We will be very busy until the convention is over! Also on the 8th of March is our anniversary. (Got any ideas for a nice restaurant? Let me know. Mike)
2/10/10)Bonnie and Mike participated in the Krewe of Poseidon parade in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, February 13, 2010. Mike walked (and walked and walked!) as Hobbs the Clown in the parade. Bonnie rode on the children's float as a chaparone, but caught the bead-throwing-fever and joined the children in tossing beads to the adoring crowds below.

MUSIC - Bonnie has served on church worship teams most of her adult life. She has also been a worship leader. Her voice has thrilled and blessed many and is often called upon to sing for a variety of events. Mike was able to put himself through college by working with churches as the music director. Occasionally, Mike will join Bonnie as she sings and as he plays his "infamous" washtub. They are available for using their musical talents wherever needed. Mike also intreprets many of Bonnie's songs in sigh language.
DRAMA and DRAMA WORKSHOPS- Drama is an excitingt way for your church to convey God's Word. Mike and Bonnie both have had vast experience in the theatre as actors and as directors, writers and producers. They have taught drama workshops for adults and teens, teaching them the basics of theater, acting, blocking, makeup and costuming. The one day workshop incorporates fun activities to teach good drama techniques as well as many opportunities for everyone to actively participate. Churches who would want their members to participate in a drama workshop may contact Mike and Bonnie for available dates.. They are also available to perform skits when requested for church services and other worshipful gatherings.
PUPPET and PUPPET WORKSHOPS - Mike has taught puppetry workshops for adults and teens since the 1970s, and still enjoys handling puppets, including his favorite character, Haywood. Mike and Bonnie are available for teaching puppetry in a workshop setting as well as performing for children, teens and adults. Contact them for available dates.
COMEDY - "Judy Jo" and "Lester" are just two of the characters that come alive in Bonnie and Mike's comedy routines. Over the years they have created numerous characters to help entertain at all types of church and community events. Need a little laughter? CHILDREN'S MINISTRY - Mike has been involved in children's ministry since his college days of teaching 3rd grade Sunday School. Today, Mike and Bonnie serve as Children's Pastor's at their local church, and enjoy the opportunity to see children come to know Jesus as they personal Lord and Savior., and to watch the children mature into God-loving and God-honoring teenagers.
